About Ken Graham:
I began my career as a commercial photographer. From 1980 to 1990 I photographed highly technical subjects requiring scrutinizing attention to detail. Assignments included architectural interiors and exteriors, products, food, medical, and advertising work.

In 1989 I photographed almost 3,000 office buildings throughout the Washington metropolitan area. By 1990 I needed a new challenge and was searching for emotionally rewarding subject matter with long-term importance. At first I began custom printing for some of the top area wedding photographers followed by assisting them and eventually photographing weddings for others before accepting my own clients.

I have been a full time wedding photographer since 1992. My commercial background has inspired a unique compositional based influence to my wedding images that is truly original among wedding photographers. Ken Graham Photography is a low volume high quality studio that consistently creates notable images. My photos have been published in The Knot Maryland Wedding Pages, “I Do” for Brides, Washingtonian Magazine, The Washington Post, and many other local and international publications.

Kengraham.com website currently averages 250 visitors per day and receives numerous request from art directors around the world for image use. When photographing a wedding I prefer to blend in with the event and take a photojournalistic approach, however I do posses highly refined portrait artist skills and I’m capable of choreographing a concept and directing groups in a smooth efficient non distracting manor when needed.

I personally photograph all of my own assignments with an assistant and never use sub-contractors or “associate photographers”. If your looking for someone who can consistently create well composed original images that will stand the test of time please contact me.
